I love to build things.
As an architect transitioning into environmental artist, I love the opportunity to build things for people to use and enjoy. This translates well from designed built space to designed digital space. My focus and skills are strongest with modeling and texturing. I love UVs; they're like little puzzles. I love to unwrap them and maximize their potential and to apply textures to objects.
I attended Lake Washington Technical Institute and earned my AAS in Digital Gaming & Media in 2013 and learned a ton of software. Before that, I studied at University of New Mexico and at Boston Architectural College.
My goal is to work in the video game industry building models and environments and texturing the pants out of assets that I have made or in a team setting. I am continuously working to learn new software and to improve my skills. I have spent the last few months working with Unity and created a little side scroller game. I am now working a new game in HTML5.

Current Video Game
This is a screen shot of the game I am working on in Unity. It is a simple side-scroller where the player presses the space bar in order to get the balloon to fly. It automatically goes to the right via wind and gravity is a constant struggle. There are obstacles including plant life, landmarks, and clouds to avoid. You can play it here.
Prison Cell Scene
This is a scene I created in Maya. I also used Photoshop and Headus to complete the scene. This is based on a 2D image from the web where I recreated the scene, all objects, all texturing, and all lighting. Please see 3d work for more images.
